Research, Review, Refresh Cadence and Corrections

Our editorial process covers how figures are researched, who reviews them, how often pages are refreshed, and how corrections are published.

How we write and review content

1. Research — every cost figure is sourced from a published retailer page, a verified installer quote, or government labor data (BLS).
2. Drafting — written by editors with 5+ years in home-improvement publishing.
3. Technical review — reviewed by a carpet installer with NACI or CFI certification before publication.
4. Refresh cadence — every page is re-verified at least every 6 months.

Corrections policy

We publish corrections within 7 days of verifying an error and label updated facts with an inline edit note. Email hello@carpetcostcalculator.com to flag an issue.

Affiliate & advertising disclosure

We accept display advertising (Google AdSense). Our pricing tables and recommendations are never paid placements. If a future link is an affiliate link, it will be clearly labeled.
